Description
The JCT Intermediate Named Sub-Contractor/Employer Agreement is for use between an employer and a named sub-contractor who will be carrying out the design and construction of works under an Intermediate Named Sub-Contract.
As the main contractor is not responsible for the design work carried out by the named sub-contractor, the employer should use this agreement as it provides direct undertakings from the named sub-contractor to the employer in relation to the named sub-contractor's design work and the named sub-contract generally.
It is for use when the main contract is to be the Intermediate Building Contract or Intermediate Building Contract with contractor’s design.
