No Quibble Returns
We offer a "No Quibble" returns policy to all customers. As long as your item(s) is in perfect and resaleable condition, we will happily accept returns back for any reason within 28 days of delivery and issue a refund back via your payment method within 1 working day of receipt.
If you need to return any item(s) purchased from us, please follow the instructions below within 14 days of receipt.
Returns without a valid RMA ID
We are unable to accept any return without a valid RMA ID.
- 1. CLICK HERE to email our Customer Service Team providing your order number, details of the item(s) you wish to return and the reason for the return within 14 days of the date of delivery.
- 2. We will email you with a returns authority RMA ID and a link to our Royal Mail returns service within 2 working days.
- 3. Once received, please follow the instructions to generate a pre-paid returns label This is only for items weighing 20kg or less.
- 4. Take your item to the post office and remember to retain your proof of postage.
You will not be charged for creating this label, but we will deduct the return postage cost from any refund due to you on receipt of your return (unless the return is due to our delivering the wrong or damaged item(s) in which case no charge will be made). This is currently £7.50
Your return must be received within 28 days of the date of receipt of your original order. Returns received back thereafter will not be refunded and if you wish the items to be returned to you, this will be subject to our standard delivery charge being paid beforehand.
Alternatively, you may send the item(s) back to us yourself together with your RMA ID within 28 days of the date of receipt of your original order to:-
The Returns Department, Professional Books Limited, Heritage Distribution Centre, Lowerfields Farm, Bystone Lane, Coate, Devizes SN10 3LQ. Please ensure that you enclose your your RMA ID.
If you chose free delivery when placing your order, unless the return is due to an error on our part, we will also deduct the cost of the outgoing postage. This is currently £6.95 (up to 2KG / £90) and £9.95 (above 2KG / £90)
International Returns
If you are based outside of the UK, please send your item(s) back to the address above. Please note that we do not refund international return postage costs.
Refund of Delivery Charges
In the unlikely event of us delivering the wrong or damaged item(s), we will refund the cost of us delivering to you if the goods are received back within 28 days of the date of receipt. If you are returning items for any other reason, we will not refund any delivery costs. If you are unable to use the Royal Mail Returns service above, we will only refund your reasonable return postage costs.
The item(s) must be packed carefully and in perfect and resaleable condition. Professional Books Limited cannot accept, or be held responsible for, any damage incurred during the return. We strongly recommend that you insure the package to the value of the goods enclosed.
Refunding Your Money
Once the goods have been received back into our warehouse and the condition has been checked, we will issue a refund back to your card within 1 working day, less any postage recovery costs. Please note that these funds can take 7-10 days to show on your account. If you have paid by BACS or cheque, we will refund your money by cheque. Please let us know who the cheque should be payable to when returning your item(s)
Incomplete or damaged returns
We strongly advise you to pack your return well. Items returned to us are carefully checked by our warehouse staff and if they are incomplete, not in perfect condition (marked, scratched, creased etc), howsoever the damage has been caused, we will reject the return and not issue a refund. Should this occur, you will be given the option for us to recycle the item(s) or resend them to you subject to our standard delivery charge being paid beforehand.
Digital Products - PDF / Subscription / CD / DVD
Where you are ordering a PDF, digital subscription, CD or DVD or other digital product, you expressly consent to waiving your rights of cancellation under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. We will not accept returns or provide refunds for any digital products.
Returns after 28 days
We are unable to accept any return after 28 days from the date of delivery.
